Deliverables:
Rosedon Hotel, a family-owned property since 1955, approached mr.h for a complete rebrand as the hotel transitioned into the next generation of ownership. The Kitson family, who have lovingly maintained the hotel for decades, sought to refresh its identity while honouring its rich heritage. This rebranding effort extended beyond the hotel to include its food and beverage offerings.
To kick off the project, we facilitated a brand workshop with key stakeholders, including the new owner and the executive chef, to delve into the hotel’s essence. Our goal was to understand how Rosedon’s legacy could evolve into a new era. The workshop enabled us to capture their vision and values, which laid the foundation for developing the brand’s new personality, vision, and proposition.
The result is a refreshed visual identity that seamlessly blends the charm of the 1950s with a contemporary, laid-back mid-century feel. The new look draws inspiration from the timeless elegance and vibrant spirit of Bermuda, using a carefully curated colour palette to maintain Rosedon’s distinctive identity. The rebrand not only preserves the hotel’s storied past but also positions it for a bright future, reflecting both its heritage and its evolution into a modern, luxurious destination.
This new branding extends across all touchpoints, from signage, websites, social media and printed collateral bringing a cohesive and updated experience to Rosedon’s guests while ensuring the hotel remains a cherished part of Bermuda’s landscape.
From the initial branding workshops, to brand development and then putting all that into reality has been a real eye opener and lots of fun.
Working with Katy our Account Manager and Jon in Design has been a real joy, not forgetting Giles and Trevor who formed part of the initial discussions. We’ve still a long way to go but I’m enjoying this brand partnership and would highly recommend to anyone else.
We’re now well underway with the development and branding of a second restaurant Clarabell’s, closely followed by a third F&B outlet, poolside. We’ll then move onto our bedrooms before finishing with the main house. Mr.h have also recently taken over our Social Media accounts.
